CrossClips Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: April 27, 2026
Last Updated: April 27, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrossClips website, apps, subscriptions, and related services (together, the "Service").

By downloading, accessing, or using CrossClips, you agree to these Terms.

1. About CrossClips

CrossClips is a clipboard-management and synchronization product that may include mobile, desktop, web, account, support, and subscription functionality.

CrossClips may be offered through:

  • Apple App Store distribution;
  • Google Play distribution;
  • direct web sign-up or billing flows; and
  • related support and account-management surfaces.

2. Eligibility

You may use CrossClips only if:

  • you can form a binding agreement under applicable law;
  • you are legally permitted to use the Service where you live; and
  • you comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you use CrossClips on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.

3. Accounts and security

Some features require an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information;
  • protect your login credentials and recovery materials;
  • promptly update your information when it changes; and
  • notify CrossClips if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activity under your account unless the issue was caused by CrossClips' own security failure.

4. Clipboard content and your responsibilities

CrossClips can capture, store, organize, and sync content that you copy or choose to save.

You are responsible for:

  • the content you copy, sync, store, or upload through CrossClips;
  • making sure you have the rights needed to use that content;
  • deciding whether sensitive information should be copied at all; and
  • securely storing your recovery key if you use encrypted sync.

You must not use CrossClips to violate law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.

5. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, CrossClips grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal use or internal business use.

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
  • interfere with the Service, security measures, rate limits, or connected infrastructure;
  • use the Service for unlawful scraping, abuse, fraud, or credential attacks; or
  • misrepresent your identity, subscription status, or entitlement rights.

6. Service changes and availability

CrossClips may add, remove, suspend, or modify features over time, including beta or experimental features. Some features may vary by platform, region, app version, or subscription tier.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal

CrossClips may offer free and paid plans. Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

A. Where you buy matters

If you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • the applicable store is your billing provider;
  • your purchase, renewal timing, refund rights, and cancellation mechanics are also governed by that store's rules; and
  • you must manage store-billed subscriptions through the relevant store account settings unless the store provides another flow.

If you purchase through a direct web checkout:

  • CrossClips or its direct billing provider processes the charge; and
  • billing, cancellation, and refund handling will follow the direct-billing terms shown at checkout and the applicable policies linked from the Service.

B. Subscription disclosures

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable provider to charge the recurring fees, taxes, and other disclosed charges associated with your plan.

Pricing, plan availability, currency, taxes, and feature access may vary by platform, region, and billing path.

C. Restore and access

Where supported, CrossClips may provide a "restore purchases" or similar access-refresh workflow. A restore flow helps resync entitlement status, but it does not guarantee that a store or provider will reinstate a cancelled subscription.

D. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund handling is described in the Cancellation and Refund policy.

8. Account deletion

If CrossClips offers account creation, CrossClips also allows account-deletion requests.

You can use the in-app deletion path where available or the public Account and Data Deletion page.

Important:

  • deleting your CrossClips account does not automatically cancel a separate Apple App Store, Google Play, or other external subscription;
  • you must also cancel any external recurring billing through the relevant billing provider if you no longer want future charges; and
  • some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, or legal compliance.

9. Third-party services

CrossClips integrates with third-party services, which may include Apple, Google, Supabase, identity providers, analytics providers for the website, Google Drive, and payment providers.

Those third parties may apply their own terms and privacy policies to the parts of the experience they control.

10. Intellectual property

CrossClips and its software, branding, designs, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by CrossClips and/or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or its intellectual property to you.

11. Privacy

CrossClips handles personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Suspension and termination

CrossClips may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • your use creates security, legal, billing, or operational risk;
  • payment obligations are not met;
  • required third-party providers suspend the underlying service; or
  • CrossClips discontinues some or all of the Service.

Where reasonably practical, CrossClips may provide notice or an opportunity to cure before termination.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

CrossClips does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted availability;
  • error-free operation;
  • compatibility with every device, workflow, or clipboard format; or
  • that the Service is suitable for storing every category of sensitive information.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossClips will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossClips' total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to CrossClips for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of CrossClips, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in your place of residence.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.

16. Changes to these Terms

CrossClips may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, app, or email.
